Training for Parents

 TALK2LIFE offers the “It Takes Two to Talk” program created by The Hanen Centre. We begin with an initial consultation with the parent and child with a Hanen Certified pathologist or therapist. We offer informative and personal classes with small groups of parents. This is followed up by three individualised consultations with a pathologist or therapist. These include communication goals and strategies, and reviews of videotaped interactions.

Parent Training

We offer training for parents to assist their children from a young age. Through allowing children to take the lead, following the child’s lead and taking turns to keep the communication going, parents and children are taught to add language to the interaction, improving their connection through words.
